A warm welcome awaits you at the 4 star family run Guesthouse  'Alt-Na-Craig '  hosted by Mandy. Situated in the heart of Burns Country on the banks of the River Doon next to the Old Skeldon Woollen Mills,taking 5 minutes from Ayr on the A713 road  heading towards to Castle -Douglas.

Close to many Ayrshire Golf Courses and to Prestwick Airport. The rooms are all tastefully decorated including three en-suites ,two upstairs and one downstairs both recently upgraded with hairdryer,alarm clock,hospitality tray with tea,coffee and Mandy's homebaking and televisions too. Drying facilities are offered as many fishermen stay here and a  freezer  for their many catches with packed lunches too.

Early breakfasts and packed ones to take away can be arranged if early flights or departures are needed

Late arrivals to the guesthouse can be catered for with light snacks by prior arrangement

We are close to Culzean Castle and to a new visitor attraction Dumfries House which was opened by Prince Charles in June 2007 which is a popular attraction with many events being held here

As a trained chef I can offer evening meals to try or if you prefer to go out The Hollybush Inn is only 2 minutes by car or we have a few other good eating places we can recommend to you.Inernet facilities are offered for guests to use.

There is a private driveway for guests to park their car in front of the house.
